FRANKFURT: Air traffic is disrupted on Monday at Frankfurt International Airport in Germany due to harsh winter weather.

Lufthansa German Airlines canceled 140 domestic and European flights, according to a spokesman for Frankfurt airport's operator company, Fraport.

The spokesman also expected further delays, pointing out that de-icing operations in the takeoff and landing runways are still ongoing.

Air traffic was also temporarily paralyzed at Germany's largest airport on Sunday. (QNA)
