Distribution of monthly aid
The purposes of assistance included providing financial and in-kind assistance in addition to monthly social assistance, which included a number of needy people and families, medical aid, and paying tuition fees for a number of students from local schools and universities. Over 200 beneficiaries recorded in the last month.
These monthly and continuous aids come throughout the year due to the great interest that Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation attaches in implementing projects and initiatives inside Qatar, which are among top priorities of the Foundation.
This is part of social responsibility of the Foundation that enhances its vision of “health and education for a better life”.
Health and Education:
Since health and education sectors reflect the vision of the Foundation, the month of January witnessed the provision of aid in the field of health and education amounting to QR348,912, which included paying tuition fees for students of various educational levels in private and community schools in addition to a number of university and academic students.
This aims at meeting the necessary needs of this segment, which enables them to continue their academic achievement without any financial problem.
The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation also provided financial assistance within the framework of the agreement with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for many medial cases of needy people who were unable to pay their medical bills due to financial problem.
Financial Assistance:
Under its constant endeavor to provide financial assistance to needy people, Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation realises the importance of that support in achieving comprehensive community development.
Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation adopts a flexible and effective mechanism that aims to support the largest segment of those needy groups, and diversify financial support between financial and in-kind assistance, according to the needs of each case, whether it is an individual or a family separately.
The value of financial and in-kind assistance provided by the Foundation in January amounted to QR276,775, while the total cost of social assistance was QR137,500, for needy families.
Sustainable Initiatives:
The charitable initiatives and projects implemented by the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation are sustainable because of self-financing and following the principles of social solidarity.
The projects ensure continuous social assistance to needy people and needy families in reducing their financial burdens.
