Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, received HE Bakary Yaou Sangary, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Nigeriens Abroad of the Republic of Niger, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs was handed a letter of condolences from HE General Abdourahamane Tchiani, President of the Republic of Niger, through which he extended his condolences to the State of Qatar on the passing of the late Father Amir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
The two sides also reviewed the relations of cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
