Downing Street: The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced today his country formally recognises of the State of Palestine.
“Today, to revive the hope of peace and a two state solution, I state clearly, as Prime Minister of this great country, that the United Kingdom formally recognizes the State of Palestine,” Starmer said in a video shared on his official social media handle.
The UK Prime Minister announced that his country will join over 150 countries worldwide that also recognise the Palestinian state.
