Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani have sent cables of condolences to the Egyptian President Dr Mohammed Mursi on the death of his sister.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani has also sent a similar cable to the Egyptian president.
Presidential spokesman Yasser Ali on Monday said that Mursi’s sister Fatma passed away at the age of 58. The Egyptian president’s sister battled cancer for 10 years and her health deteriorated in the past few months. She was hospitalised at the A-Zagazig University Hospital. QNA
