Doha: Enterprise Qatar (EQ), which is the main sponsor of the School Olympic Programme that is organised by Qatar’s Olympic Committee and Qatar’s Higher Education Council, held a workshop entitled “Sports and Investment”. Over 40 teachers from 27 schools participated in the School Olympic Programme. The workshop took place in Qatar’s Olympic Committee in Lusail hall.
The workshop composed of four main segments, trade exhibits, activity book, innovation challenge contest and competition work plan, which will involve students’ participation in the School Olympic Programme event entitled “Sports and Investment”.
Noor Al Mannai, CEO of EQ said: “We are interested in developing students’ mental skills and prepare an educational environment to enable innovative students participate in the entrepreneurial and investment initiative.
“Therefore, developing the academic framework is our first step to support this programme.
“This was the reason we partnered with Foroige, the Irish company that specialises in developing innovative initiatives in schools. Foroige will be training teachers that represents a number of schools in Qatar on the basic skills that support sport and investment programmes.
