DOHA: The Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will be holding its first Snoring and Sleep Apnea Conference from November 22 to 24 in collaboration with Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP).
The conference will discuss methods of diagnosis and treatment for snoring and sleep apnea, including robotic surgery and other developments in the past few years.
It will take place at HMC’s Education Center during the first and third days, while the second day of the conference will be held at the QSTP. Dr Abdulla Al Ansari, Head of the Surgery Department at HMC will inaugurate the conference that will be attended by internationally renowned surgeons from Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Egypt and GCC countries.
Dr Medhat Shams, Senior ENT Specialist at HMC and Coordinator of the Conference said the first day will involve 12 lectures on specialised surgeries for the management of snoring and sleep disorders, particularly the latest robotic surgery techniques. The Peninsula
