Doha: Research & Graduate Studies department at Qatar University has started a podcast on Soundcloud audio platform. On the first podcast uploaded last Wednesday scientists discussed the topic “The Social Psychological and Neuro Scientific Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
The QU Research account will upload podcasts as part of Research Wednesday Series on its account.
Prominent scientists from Qatar University Dr. Susu Zughaier, Assistant Professor of Microbiology, and Yousri Marzouki, Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology, were the guest on the first episode and they discussed the topic in-depth for over 40 minutes.
The podcast hosted by Chaker Ayadi, Lecturer at Qatar University, was very informative and touched upon very important and relevant topics, which has been impacting the larger society as the world tries to recover from the effects of Covid-19 pandemic. They also discussed the impact of social media on the pandemic through misinformation and how it impacted countries.
Research Wednesday Series will bring more such topics of discussion in their podcasts in the future.
