Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 89.55 points (-0.85%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,395.98 points Wednesday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 11,376,635 from 13,541,670 on Tuesday and the value of shares also decreased QR416,377,534.22 from QR502,924,669.32 on Tuesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 39 saw trading today. From these 2 gained and 36 companies closed lower today, remained one company unchanged.
Indices of all seven sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.85 to 17,200.22 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index lost to -1.19% to 4,110.87 points and QSE All Share Index decreased -0.87% to 2,919.43 points.
