Berlin: The Ministry of Defence of the State of Qatar signed a military cooperation agreement with the Federal Ministry of Defence of Germany.
The agreement was signed for the Qatari side by Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) H E Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, and for the German side by Inspector General of the German Armed Forces and Chief of Defense General H E Eberhard Zorn.
A military parade was held on the sidelines of the signing of the cooperation agreement.
The signing ceremony was attended by Qatari military attache to the Federal Republic of Germany Brigadier General Khaled Ali Al Kaabi, and Head of the International Military Cooperation Authority Brigadier General Abdulaziz Saleh Al Sulaiti.
