Doha: Qatar is experiencing a rise in humidity with hazy to misty conditions in some areas since early morning, and temperatures to range between hot to very hot for the daytime, according to the Meteorology Department’s forecast for today July 22, 2025.

Inshore, the weather is expected to become hot to very hot, reaching temperatures of 40°C degrees in Doha, accompanied by slight dust in places and some clouds at times.

Winds are predicted to be variable at first, becoming northwesterly to northeasterly, ranging from 8 to 18 knots and gusting up to 28 knots in some areas during the day.

Visibility inshore is expected to be between 4 to 9 km, potentially dropping to 3 km or less in certain locations during daytime.

Offshore, conditions will be misty initially before becoming hazy with some cloud cover.

Winds offshore will be variable at first, then mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 5 to 15 knots.

The sea state is forecast to be 1 to 2 feet inshore and 2 to 4 feet offshore.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions given the hot temperatures and potentially reduced visibility throughout the day.
