QU Class of 2021 female students’ graduation from October 12 to 16

DOHA: Qatar University (QU) announced in a statement that it would organise separate graduation ceremonies for its Class of 2021 female students, which will take place in the mornings and evenings from October 12 to 16 at the QU Sports and Events Complex. 

The graduation ceremonies will be streamed live on the QU YouTube channel. The graduates will be received on stage by the Dean of their respective college and ceremony organizers. All necessary safety and precautionary measures approved by the state will be implemented to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The College of Sharia & Islamic Studies and College of Law would have their ceremony on October 12 at 4pm. College of Education and College of Engineering would hold on October 13 at 9am, and the College of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy and College of Medicine at 4pm. Also, on October 13, the College of Arts and Sciences (Majors of Mass Communication, History, Sociology, Social Work, and Psychology) would have their ceremonies at 9am.

On October 14, the graduation for the College of Arts & Sciences (Graduate Studies, Majors of Biology, Statistics, Chemistry, Sport Science, Mathematics, Arabic, English Literature, Linguistics, International Affairs, Policy, Planning  & Development) would be held at 4pm, while the College of Business and Economics is scheduled for 9am on October 16.
