The director of Al Wakra municipality closed down Save Mart retail store for seven days for selling expired food.
Sun Golden Restaurant in Umm Salal Mohammed was closed for 15 days. The decision was based on the official violation seizure record and the report of the head of the Health Control Section, which confirmed violation of Law No. 8/1990 on regulating and controlling human food.
A complaint had been made by a customer, which led to an investigation. “We have decided to close down Sun Golden Restaurant for 15 days,” said the director of Umm Salal municipality.
