Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has launched eight new electronic services for the Urban Planning Affairs Sector via its official website, marking a significant step in its digital transformation drive to enhance efficiency and accessibility.
The initiative introduces eight services designed to simplify procedures and enable beneficiaries to complete their transactions easily and around the clock without the need for in-person visits. The Ministry shared the details of the new services on its account on the X platform.
The newly introduced services cover both land management and survey functions. In the area of land management, the Ministry now provides services for lifting restrictive conditions on land and transferring such conditions between parties.
It also enables the registration of conditional land in the names of heirs, the issuance of replacement title deeds for lost documents, and the conversion of land from one regulatory system to another. In addition, users can now complete and track land management procedures entirely online.
Within the survey domain, the Ministry offers a survey report service as well as a service dedicated to the numbering of streets, intersections, squares, and parks, supporting improved planning and organization of public spaces.
The Ministry highlighted that these services allow beneficiaries to access and complete transactions electronically from any location at any time, significantly improving convenience.
The initiative also contributes to unifying and simplifying land-related procedures, reducing reliance on paper-based documentation, and minimizing the need for physical visits to service centers. Through electronic integration, the services enhance data accuracy and accelerate the processing of applications, ultimately improving the overall user experience.
To access the services, users can visit the Ministry’s official website, log in through the National Authentication System (NAS), navigate to the e-services section, select the required service, and enter the necessary information. Applicants can upload any required documents, agree to the terms and conditions, submit their requests electronically, and track the status of their applications through their personal accounts on the portal.
This launch reflects the Ministry’s broader commitment to advancing digital government services in line with Qatar’s national development goals.
In recent years, the Ministry has steadily expanded its portfolio of smart services, focusing on enhancing efficiency, transparency, and service quality while keeping pace with technological advancements. The rollout of these new services also aligns with ongoing efforts to build an integrated digital ecosystem across government entities, ensuring seamless data exchange and more responsive public services.
By prioritizing innovation and user-centric design, the Ministry continues to strengthen its role in supporting sustainable urban development and delivering modern, efficient solutions that meet the evolving needs.
