Doha: Babyshop has named the winners of its Expressions drawing competition.
The event, in association with Commercial Bank, was held last week for children aged three to 14.
They divided into 3-5, 6-9 and 10-14 age groups and contest themes were ‘Mother’, ‘Water Conservation/Tree Plantation’ and ‘Road Safety’, respectively.
Results were announced at Al Asmakh Mall.
Santosh Pai, COO, Landmark Group, said response had been overwhelming to one of their biggest events in Qatar, providing a platform and encouraging talent among children.
He thanked the bank and the panel of judges.
In the category ‘Mother’, Mukund Rajesh Nair won the first prize and Eman Shamim, Mohamed Ameen and Afia Sehrish second, third and fourth prizes, respectively.
In the category ‘Water Conversation/Tree plantation, Sarang Santosh Krishna won the first prize, Parvathi, Aishwaryaa and Nidhi Noronha second, third and fourth prizes.
In the category ‘Road Safety, Deepak Sajikumar won the first prize and Kumari Sirman, Iniyaa and Nishita second, third and fourth prizes.
