DOHA: The Traffic Department has rejected as baseless the talk of manifold increase in fines for speeding, going on in social media. “There is no truth in these claims. The fines for breaking speed limits remain unchanged,” the Traffic Department said, advising people not to heed rumours.
People should confirm facts before taking to the social media, the department said.
