Kuwait says Abdali border crossing targeted by hostile drones

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said on Thursday that the Abdali border crossing came under repeated attacks by hostile drones, causing material damage but no casualties.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said the border crossing "was subjected, this evening, to repeated targeting by hostile drones, which resulted in material damage, with no human injuries recorded."

He added that the competent authorities immediately began taking the necessary measures to deal with the incident in coordination with the relevant authorities.

He further affirmed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces "continue to carry out their missions and duties with high efficiency" and have adopted "all necessary measures to protect the homeland's borders and preserve its security and stability."
