Doha, Qatar: Qatar Calendar House (QCH) has announced that tomorrow, August 24, will mark the beginning of the 'Suhail' season, coinciding with the rising of the Suhail star in the Arabian Peninsula.
The Suhail season will last for 53 days and is expected to herald a seasonal change, with a gradual decrease in the intensity of the heat, particularly at night, as temperatures begin to ease due to a drop in water temperature.
According to QCH, the Suhail season consists of four phases: Tarfah, Jabha, Zubrah and Sarfah.
