Doha: Qatar Petroleum’s Research and Technology Department is showcasing its research programmes and activities at the Joint Qatar Foundation Annual Research Forum and Arab Expatriate Scientists Network Symposium 2012.
“The Annual Research Forum 2012 is an opportunity for QP Research to present our research programs and activities, and QP’s strong presence in the event reflects our firm commitment to the objectives of the Qatar National Research Strategy as QP aims to be at the forefront of research and technological development in the regional and global oil and gas industry,” said Dr Nasser Saqer Al Mohannadi, Manager for Research & Technology at QP.
The activities of QP’s Research & Technology Department revolve around four major focus areas, namely oil and gas operations, subsurface, downstream, and the environment.
It currently undertakes various research projects in collaboration with universities, science institutes, technology providers and international oil and gas companies.
