Washington: Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton on Thursday told a congressional investigation into the 2012 Benghazi attacks that she shouldered responsibility for the tragedy.
"I take responsibility for what happened in Benghazi," the Democratic presidential frontrunner told the panel probing the attacks in Libya that left four Americans dead, including ambassador Christopher Stevens.
"I felt a responsibility for all 70,000 people working at the State Department and USAID. I take that very seriously," Clinton said.
