Doha, Qatar: Minister of Interior and Commander of Lekhwiya Force HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani met on Monday, October 23, 2023, with Minister of Interior of the Republic of Iraq Lieutenant General Abdulamir Kamel Al-Shammari.
During the meeting they discussed a number of topics of common interest, and reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries in the security fields and ways to support and develop them.
After that, H.E the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Lekhwiya Force, and H.E the Iraqi Minister of Interior witnessed the signing of the minutes of a joint meeting between the Ministries of Interior of the two brotherly countries, which was signed on behalf of the Qatari Ministry of Interior by H.E Maj. Gen. Saad bin Jassim Al-Khulaifi, the security advisor to the Minister of Interior, and on behalf of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Ziad Taha Ali, advisor to the Minister of Interior for training.
