Workers dismantle the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant at a ship breaking yard in Mumbai yesterday. The ship, which was built during WWII and named HMS Hercules for the British Royal Navy, was bought from Britain as an umcompleted carrier in 1957. The ship was decommissioned in 1997 and turned into a museum at the Mumbai harbour after some 10 years.
