DOHA: Doha Bank yesterday recognised and honoured its long-serving employees in a ceremony hosted at its Head Office in West Bay. The employees were recognised for completion of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 35 years of service.
A total of 87 staff members were honoured at the 2016 Long-Service Awards, including six retiring employees. The honorees included Farooq Ahmed Fazel Ahmed and Raisuddin Siddiqi Shamimuddin Siddiqi – who each completed 35 years of service with the Bank.

We truly believe that our employees are our most valuable asset, and one of our biggest strengths as an organization has been the presence of a large pool of dedicated, long-term employees who work tirelessly to ensure the Bank’s success,” said Dr R Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank. “Hosting this ceremony today is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to these employees for their loyalty and commitment to Doha Bank over so many years,” he added.
