Doha: A commemorative book marking a decade of achievements by College of North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q) and published by Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation (BQF) has won its second top international marketing prize.
The richly-illustrated single edition written in Arabic and English, picked up 2014 Platinum Hermes Award in the Publications category.
The award is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programmes, and emerging technologies.
In December last year, The Promise …The Legacy won Platinum Award at the 2013 MarCom Awards, an international competition sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, which honours excellence in marketing and communications.
CNA-Q, which opened its doors in September 2002, is Qatar’s premier comprehensive technical college. Boasting 650 staff and more than 4,600 students, it combines a Canadian curriculum with industry expertise in four key areas: Health Sciences; Information Technology; Engineering Technology; and Business Studies.
BQF is owned by Qatar Foundation and managed by Bloomsbury Publishing Plc in London. It is based in Doha and has four core aims:

Reading and Writing Development: To encourage lifelong literacy in Qatar and the Arab world.
The Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Journals (BQFJ) focuses on fostering scholarly and research communication. BQFJ publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality, open access journals, databases and repositories on the QScience.com platform which adheres to the highest scholarly publishing standards.
