MES Indian School Management felicitated the Qatar National Day participants, who won the overall championship under seven categories and a cash award of QR7,000 in the School Level Competitions organised by Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Al Khor, during a ceremony held at the K G Auditorium of the school recently.
Around 700 participants, who performed their very best to make the Qatar National Day memorable were awarded with certificate of excellence by the Department of Public Relations, Ministry of Interior (MOI), Qatar on the occasion.
The day also witnessed honoring the overall CBSE National Champions who had scaled the ladder of success by exhibiting their incredible performance in the CBSE National Athletic Meet held at Divine Child School, Mehsana, Gujarat, India recently. In addition, the CBSE National participants in Football, Table Tennis, Badminton and Taekwondo were also honoured with trophies and certificates during the function. The school management provides a full academic year sports scholarship for all the CBSE National Medalists.
Shamsuddeen Abdul Kader, President Officiating, K P Abdul Azeez, General Secretary, Kashif Jaleel, Dy General Secretary, Hazmal Ismail, Director, Cultural & Co-Curricular Activities, MES Governing Board, and Principal, A P Sasidharan attended the function.
B J Beilbey, Head, Department of Performing Arts, welcomed the gathering while Shilpa S Nair, Teacher, Department of Hindi, compered the programme. P Moideen, Asst Convener Cultural Activities, coordinated the event.
