Pakistan International School Qatar took part in the 2nd Qatar Preparatory School Debate League (QPSDL) 2021. The tournament was held online via Discord.
The three teams from PISQ represented the school at the event. Team 1 comprised Abdullah Ahsan Rasheed, Hassan Elehi, and Ali Husnain. Team 2 consisted of Wali Sarfraz, Abdullah Ahsan Bashir and Umer Aman; while Abdullah Husain, Abdullah Aman and Waleed made up the team 3. A total of 34 debate teams from 18 schools participated in the tournament. The young debaters did superbly well in a nerve-racking contest and stood as one of the four best teams of the league 2020-2021. PISQ boys team has also won its way to QPSDL semifinals 2021.
Principal Pakistan International School Qatar, Nargis Raza Otho, applauded the debating teams on their outstanding performance in both 1st and 2nd QPSDL. She commended the commitment, enthusiasm and spirit of the debaters and their coach.
