DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 62.96 points or 0.73 percent to 8,593.26 points from the previous closing of 8,656.22 points.
The volume of shares traded fell to 6,251,258 from 7,154,866 Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR220,020,506.77 from QR278,350,058.11 Wednesday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 1.65 percent to QR167.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.91 percent to QR65.40, Qatar Insurance fell 1.80 percent to QR54.50 and Electricity and Water down 1.67 percent to QR141.00.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.59 points while the Insurance sector down 1.14 points.
The Qatar industrial sector dropped 1.21 points and the Services sector fell 0.59 points. (QNA)
