DOHA: A famous shop in Souq Asiri is facing closure for selling huge quantities of expired beauty products. Inspectors at the Consumer Protection Department seized 3,150 pieces of hair and bodycare products, the department said in a statement. Some of the products didn’t have expiry dates.
Procedures are underway to shut down the shop since the violation is serious and poses health hazards to the public, the department said.
The case has been referred to police for action.
