The Learning Festival of World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) is showcasing uses of technology in the classroom and how to utilise accessible technology to enhance creativity. The event, in partnership with Katara at its Esplanade, runs until November 8, between 5pm and 10pm. It features a photo diary by renowned Iranian photographer Newsha Tavakolian and demonstrations by innovators from Maker Movement who have transformed conventional media and arts into an interactive and playful journey. Workshops, performances and other pop-up events will take place throughout the festival being held under the theme ‘Creative takes on the use of technology in education’.
