Doha, Qatar: The Attorneys’ Admission Committee, chaired by Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, convened yesterday.

Among the items on the agenda were the swearing-in of three new lawyers before the committee, assessment of corresponding business owners’ applications to enrol on the legal practitioner lists  and applications of a number of new lawyers who completed their training contract, and the interviewing of several new applicants. 

The meeting agenda also included approving applications of two new trainee lawyers and discussed transferring two lawyers to be registered before the Court of Cassation. 

The attendees also discussed several regulatory and organisational topics related to the legal profession, including the minutes of subcommittees, and issued appropriate decisions on them. The Committee stressed the need for trainee lawyers to adhere to the programme approved within the 2024 training plan and attendance discipline according to the announced lecture schedule, as stipulated in the training regulations approved by Legal and Judicial Studies Center.
