Doha: The Philippine Embassy through the Commission on Elections released the finalised Certified List of Overseas Voter (CLOV) in Qatar for the 2022 National and Local Elections.
The Ambassador, H E Timbayan said the list has been uploaded on the embassy’s official website https://dohape.dfa.gov.ph/ under the title “2022 Certified List of Overseas Voters Landbased.”
“The CLOV contains only the voter’s name and registration date and no other private information are included therein,” he explained.
There are two lists — one for landbased and seafarer. The total number of registered landbased overseas voters reached 40,441, while the seafarer overseas voters number reached 19,584. The Philippine Embassy also clarified that registration period for overseas voting ended on October 14, 2021, and only those who registered in the country can be allowed to vote.
The voting period at the embassy will begin on April 10 to May 9.
