Doha: Prominent personalities from different walks of life will attend a conference on “Harmonious Kerala” to be organised by the Doha-based Friends Cultural Centre in cooperation with the Doha International Centre for Inter-faith Dialogue (DICID) today at 6.30pm at Abu Bakr Assidique Independent School for Boys.
Keynote speakers at the conference include Dr Ali Mohiyuddin Quradaghi, General Secretary of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Dr Ibrahim Salih Al Naimi, Chairman of DICID, Adv C K Menon, Global Chairman Overseas Indian Cultural Congress and senior officials of Qatar Charity.
Eminent religious scholars from Kerala such as Rev Dr Mannakkarakavil Geevarghese Mathew, Swami Jhana Tapasya and Moulavi Jamaluddin Mankada, Imam of Palayam Juma Masjid, will also speak at the conference.
Dr Abdussalam Ahmed, Managing Director of MediaOne TV, will be the moderator.
Representatives of various community organisations in Qatar will offer felicitation speeches.
