RIYADH: An unknown driver crashed into a car driven by a US resident in Saudi Arabia’s northern Tabuk region and then fired on his vehicle but left him unharmed, police said.
“Tabuk police were informed ... that a driver crashed into and opened fire at car driven by a US resident on a road in Tabuk,” state news agency SPA quoted the region’s police chief General Matuq Al Zahrani as saying late on Wednesday. Nobody was injured in Wednesday’s incident which however damaged the American’s car, said Zahrani.
It was unclear if the US resident was targeted or if it was an accident. AFP
