DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in the green area Sunday adding 38.28 points (or 0.42 percent) to advance to 9,086.90 points from 9,048.62 Thursday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 9,081,243 from 7,601,195 on Thursday, and the value of shares increased to QR329,808,505.24 from QR321,847,502.96 Thursday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 4.00 percent to QR65.00, International Islamic Bank rose 1.69 percent to QR54.10, Qatar Navigation gained 1.22 percent to QR74.90 and Gulf International up by 1.23 percent to Q41.30.
The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.44 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.08 points. The industrial sector was added 0.27 points while insurance sector gained 2.37 points.(QNA)
