Doha, Qatar: The country is expected to experience a rise in temperatures starting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, stated the Qatar Meteorology Department.
In a social media post accompanied by a temperature forecast map, the department stated that the rise will continue through the end of the week, with maximum temperatures reaching the mid-40s in some areas of the eastern coast.
The country has been witnessing hot day times with moderate northwesterly-northeasterly wind and temperatures ranging from 26°C to 45°C.
Similar warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department in Kuwait City where the maximum temperatures are expected to hit 51°C in some areas.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates set May temperature record with 51.6 degrees Celsius for two days in a row recently, exceeding the previous record for the month of 50.2 degrees Celsius.
