Doha: As the 2026–2027 academic year begins, Arab International Academy welcomes students to its Doha and Lusail campuses, continuing an educational journey that began ten years ago with an ambitious vision: to provide high quality international education that combines tradition and modernity, places students at the heart of learning, strengthens their pride in their language, culture, and identity, and encourages openness to the world.
This year marks the Academy’s tenth anniversary—a decade of continuous growth and development in educational programs and practices, including the opening of the Lusail Campus in 2024. Today, both campuses share a common educational vision and provide stimulating learning environments that respond to students’ needs and prepare them for an ever-changing future.
International Education rooted in Arab identity
The Academy draws on leading international educational practices while maintaining a strong commitment to language, culture, and identity. Its goal extends beyond academic achievement to developing students who understand who they are, take pride in their culture, and engage confidently and respectfully with others.
Arabic and English are therefore central to the educational experience. The Academy believes that bilingualism enriches students intellectually and culturally, while opportunities to learn French or Spanish as a third language further broaden their horizons.
Learning for life and the future
Through its International Baccalaureate programmes—PYP, MYP, DP, and CP—and the High School Diploma/ American Diploma, the Academy provides diverse educational pathways suited to students’ abilities, interests, and future aspirations.
Learning goes beyond memorizing information. Students inquire, investigate, collaborate, solve problems, and reflect. The Academy places particular emphasis on thinking, research, communication, collaboration, and self management skills, alongside the responsible use of technology and artificial intelligence and a growing awareness of sustainability.
