DOHA: Points leaders Al Sailiyah retained their top position with a 2-2 draw against Al Khor in round six of the Qatar Stars League (QSL).
Two goals in extra time by Moumouni Dagano (90 + 1) and Yves Ilunga Diba (90 + 6, penalty) helped the leaders to share points at Al Khor Stadium yesterday.
For Al Khor, Madson (45) and Usman Mohammed scored the goals for the home team.
Al Sailiyah have 12 points from six matches.
Also yesterday, Al Wakra yesterday ground out a goalless draw against defending champions Al Sadd to remain in second spot after six matches.
Al Wakra also have 12 points from six matches.
In other matches yesterday, Al Arabi hammered hosts Qatar SC 4-0 at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Brazilian striker Wanderley fired a hat-trick (7, 67 and 88) while Ahmed Saleh (51) also scored in the 4-0 drubbing.
In the last match of the day, Umm Salal spoiled the mood in the Al Rayyan camp by sharing points with a 3-3 card at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium.
