Doha: Qatar Steel Company participated in The Big 5 Show held on November 17-20 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, inaugurated by H H Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, attracted about 2,700 exhibitors from 60 countries. The Big 5 is the largest annual trade show for building materials and Construction industry in the Middle East and the Gulf.
Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Ansari, Commercial Division Manager, Qatar Steel, said, “We are participating in the show, as we are keen to attend all important building and constructions exhibitions in the region.
“Through the show, Qatar Steel aims to meet and communicate with professionals, traders, and businessmen specialised and interested in the constructions sector, as well as decisionmakers from across the world. The show provides an opportunity for Qatar Steel and other exhibitors to display building products and services, and get updated on the sector, which is witnessing a boom in Qatar and the Gulf, offering huge potential to steel companies.” Qatar Steel’s stand attracted many visitors. Delegations met the company’s customers in the Middle East and GCC and discussed business-related issues.
