Doha: Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs affirmed the greatness of the Dhul-Hijjah month and the first 10 days of it in particular, which Allah Almighty confirms in the Holy Quran.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah, the Ministry reviewed the best deeds for those days and called on all Muslims to seize this opportunity as a season of goodness and resort to Allah Almighty with sincere repentance, and a lot of good deeds.
The Ministry also underscored the observance of fasting on the day of ‘Arafah, indicating that Muslims shall be closer to Allah and preserve the five prayers, recitation of the Noble Quran, and obey and kindness.
