DOHA: All accident and emergency units of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), including the one at Hamad General Hospital (HGH), will remain open 24 hours on Eid Al Fitr holidays.
Al Wakra Hospital, Al Khor Hospital and Women’s Hospital have emergency units which will also remain open round-the-clock.
The Outpatient Department (OPD) on the ground floor of HGH will remain open today, tomorrow, on July 31 and August 2, 3 and 4 between 7am until 3pm. It will be closed on August 1, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported yesterday.
People would be able to collect prescribed medicines at the HGH pharmacy today from 8am to noon, and on July 30 and 31 from 7am until 3pm.
All HGH laboratories will remain open on July 30 and 31 between 8am and noon and 7am until 3pm from August 2 to 4.
Today, the HGH pharmacy will remain open from 8am to 1pm and 7am until 3pm on July 30 and 31.
The pathology unit of HGH will remain open on Eid holidays. While the emergency section of Al Wakra Hospital and its pharmacy will remain open 24 hours on Eid holidays, its OPD will be closed from today and will reopen on August 5. The operation theatre will work if there is any emergency.
At the Women’s Hospital, the emergency unit and the pharmacy will be open 24 hours during the holidays. Laboratories are open today, on July 30 and 31 from 9am until 1pm, and from August 2 to 4, from 7am until 3pm. The maternity emergency unit will be open from 8am to 1pm today and on July 30 and 31. Its non-emergency departments will be open on August 3 while the pharmacy will be open 24 hours on all holidays. The OPD of Al Khor Hospital will remain closed from today until August 4. Its emergency unit will be open 24 hours during the holidays. The paediatric unit will remain open in morning and evening.
The skin department’s emergency unit and laboratories of Rumailah Hospital will remain open from 9am until noon on July 30 and 31.
