Doha: Qatar and Pakistan signed here yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on air transport according to which rights of air transport and number of flights are to be increased between the two countries.
Abdul Aziz Mohamed Al Noaimi, Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, and Raja Mohamed Arif Nadheer, the First Secretary at the Pakistani Defence Ministry signed the MoU.
It allows Qatar Airways to increase the number of its destinations in Pakistan.
It was also agreed to update some of the terms of the air transport agreement between the two countries signed in 1972.
