Doha, Qatar: The Government Communications Office (GCO) stated that, in light of the current regional developments, the State of Qatar affirms that the security and safety of citizens, residents and visitors remain its highest priority.
In its statement, the GCO said that all government entities and relevant authorities, in coordination with the private sector, continue to perform their duties with full preparedness and high efficiency.
It added that developments were being closely monitored, and the necessary precautionary measures have been implemented in accordance with the highest operational standards, supported by an integrated national crisis and emergency management system.
The Government Communications Office urged the public to rely on official sources and to refrain from publishing or circulating any video footage captured by citizens, residents or visitors, and that any developments warranting public notification will be communicated through official channels.
