Doha, Qatar: Ministries of Municipality and Labour have reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all workers in Qatar on the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work observed today on April 28, 2026.
In a social media post, the Ministry of Municipality stressed its continued efforts to advance a proactive work system focused on improving productivity, supporting sustainability and enhancing overall quality of life.
The Ministry also urged employers to create organized and supportive workplaces that enhance concentration and improve employees’ performances to achieve sustainable productivity.
It added that a healthy work environment is an essential for innovation while ensuring designated spaces for collaborative work and providing comfortable environment that support work-life balance.
Similarly, the Ministry of Labour stressed the importance of ensuring a stress-free working environment in the country.
It noted that protecting the safety and health of workers, including their mental health, remains an ongoing priority that translates into effective policies and practices which support the sustainability of the labour market, in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
