Doha, Qatar: With a distinctive cultural and entertainment program, Katara Cultural Village transformed into a vibrant destination on the first day of Eid Al-Adha, where the melodies of heritage blended with the spirit of celebration.

The Eid nights sparkled with artistic performances and a family-friendly atmosphere that attracted visitors of all ages and backgrounds, reflecting Katara’s success in becoming a premier destination for the public to enjoy such occasions.

On the Katara Corniche, the story began with the traditional Qatari Ardah dance, which captivated the audience with its authentic chants, bringing back memories of authentic Qatari heritage.

As is its custom every Eid, Katara brings joy to children’s faces by distributing “Katara Eid gifts.”

The Eid celebrations become cherished memories for the little ones as they receive their gifts amidst a vibrant and fun-filled festive atmosphere, making Katara’s Eid activities a unique social and cultural experience.

A number of parents expressed their happiness with the atmosphere Katara provided during Eid, praising the excellent organization and the diverse activities that combined entertainment with heritage and cultural values. They affirmed that Katara’s Eid gifts have become an event children eagerly anticipate each year, bringing joy and care to their hearts.

Parents noted that Katara successfully provided a safe and enjoyable space for families. They also commended the Katara Cultural Village Foundation’s commitment to promoting the spirit of Eid and preserving authentic social traditions in a modern way that appeals to all segments of society. On the other hand, the military parade added a majestic visual dimension to Katara’s Eid celebrations.

The participants’ steps rose in precise synchronisation to the rhythm of military music, creating a well-organised display that captivated visitors and lent the venue a special festive air, reflecting the beauty of the coordination and the magnificence of the performance.

Furthermore, starting tomorrow, the second day of Eid, the Al Thuraya Planetarium in Building 41 will host three captivating shows about space. The first show will be at 5pm, the second at 6pm, and the third at 7pm, taking the audience on a journey among the stars, planets, and the mysteries of the universe.

The Al Thuraya Planetarium is one of Katara’s most prominent attractions, offering dazzling visual displays that combine education and entertainment in an engaging and interactive atmosphere.

At 8:30pm, the audience witnessed enchanting light displays as the fireworks show began. Colours seemed to scatter across the sky in a breathtaking spectacle, while the cheers of children and the amazement of the audience rose with each flash that illuminated the Doha night with colours of joy.

Through these events, the Katara Cultural Village Foundation continues to consolidate its presence as a destination that celebrates culture and heritage in a fun and entertaining atmosphere, offering a complete Eid experience that combines visual enjoyment, family atmosphere, and authentic Qatari identity, so that Katara remains one of the most prominent destinations that creates the most beautiful memories of Eid in Qatar.
