Doha: Adhering to the norms of COVID-19 protocol and as per the directives of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, MES Indian School reopened after the summer break ensuring 50% of students attending blended learning with rotational attendance. 

The students who are returning to school after vacation cherished the feeling of homecoming, as classroom interactions and teachings would provide effective transaction of knowledge besides infusing lots of enthusiastic as well as fun-filled learner-centric activities in a lively study ambiance. 

On this occasion, the school management, principal and staff joined hands with parents in welcoming students and wishing them happy learning and a fruitful academic session. All students are advised to self-monitor daily for COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, nausea. Students who develop any of these symptoms are advised to stay away from attending school. 

Earlier, a two-day orientation cum teachers’ in-service progamme was conducted by the school officials and specializsd resource persons as a part of preparatory activity to equip teachers with the latest teaching methodology for effective classroom learning. 

The Principal, Hameeda Kadar said that the school has geared up for the second phase of the academic session 2021-22 in a blended mode of learning with strict adherence of the guidelines extended by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the COVID protocols as recommended by the Ministry of Public Health. “We also look forward to the continued support and cooperation of the parents in all our initiatives,” said the principal.
