DOHA: International Society of Automation (ISA), the largest worldwide professional body of control engineering professionals, organised its 90th technical seminar on utilisation of laser technology in the field of gas detection in oil & gas industry. The speaker Larry Hudson, Vice President, Senscient UK, presented how they have developed and patented the laser technology application in toxic and flammable gas detection.
Zaheer Juddy, Managing Director, AIMS, emphasised the utilisation of laser technology in the field of gas analysis. ISA is playing a vital role for technical up gradation and introduction of latest technology being used in various oil & gas industries, among the control engineers of Qatar through regularly arranging technical seminars, conferences , symposiums and exhibitions by various control system manufacturers and consultants from all over the world.
The seminar was presided by Nilangshu Dey, President, ISA Qatar Section, and attended by control engineers of Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas, RasGas, Qafac, QChem, Qapco, Oryx GTL, QVC, Qasco, QEWC, Worley Parsons, Technip, Dopet and other reputed engineering and contracting companies of Qatar.
