New Delhi: Petrol prices were to go up by Rs.1.82 per litre, excluding taxes, from midnight due to the fall in the value of the rupee and hardening of crude prices in international market, Indian Oil Corporation said yesterday. Allowing for local taxes, the new price of petrol per litre will be Rs68.58 in Delhi, Rs76.10 in Kolkata, Rs76.90 in Mumbai and Rs71.71 in Chennai.
