Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in telephone calls yesterday exchanged greetings with a number of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Emir exchanged greetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, the Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, H M King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, and President Mohamed Moncef Marzouki of Tunisia. The Emir also exchanged greetings with Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh, and Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
