Washington: President Donald Trump said Sunday a buyer had been found for social media platform TikTok, which faces a looming ban in the United States due to its China ties, and promised to name the purchaser in two weeks.
"We have a buyer for TikTok," Trump said in an interview on Fox's Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, adding that Chinese President Xi Jinping "will probably do it."
