Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Ministry of Defence signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation to establish and operate a direct communication channel for immediate notification during crises.
The agreement aims to facilitate rapid communication and coordination between the two sides in the event of emergencies or crisis situations.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Qatar's Ministry of Defence by the Acting Commander of the Doha Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Brigadier General (Air) Rashid Sultan Al-Hitmi.
Representing the Russian Ministry of Defence was the Deputy Chief of the Russian National Defence Management Centre, Vice Admiral Kalganov Viktor Andreevich.
